Realme GT 7 Leaks with 7000mAh Battery & The Segment’s First Dimensity 9400+ SoC

A tipster gave away Realme GT 7’s specs through a leak on Weibo yesterday. Before we get into the details, here’s a little bit of background about the lineup. The company unveiled the Realme GT 6 in July last year and a few months later, dropped a Realme GT 7 Pro with a Snapdragon 8 Elite as the flagship gaming phone. 

The vanilla Realme GT 7 should be just as good as the Pro model but with slightly toned-down specs. Details provided by Digital Chat Station seem to fit the Realme GT 7’s description. He believes the battery on this new device will be a massive 7000mAh single-cell pack, which also aligns with previous reports. 

Of course, with such an enormous battery, the phone must use a fast charging method to fill it back up. Per the leaks, there’s a 100W rapid charging support inside the Realme GT 7. It even outdoes the Realme GT 7 Pro, which only uses 5800mAh in the global markets, and a 6500mAh battery in China.

Another detail that was revealed today is the new Realme GT mobile’s Flat Profile. DCS says this phone has a straight screen, so a flat AMOLED display is expected from this newcomer. There were no specifics given in the leak, but we assume it could bring the same AMOLED tech that’s used by GT 7 Pro. This remains unconfirmed for now. 

The bell-of-the-ball will be Realme GT 7’s latest MTK Dimensity 9400+ chipset. This chip hasn’t come out yet, but it will debut on April 11. From what we’ve found on the web, this new chip has a Main Cortex-X925 core boosted to 3.7GHz for improved performance. On the surface, this will be the same chip as Dimensity 9400. 

We hear Realme wants its upcoming GT 7 to be among the first devices with a Dimensity 9400+ on board for bragging rights, so the device should follow the same timeline as the chip and go official in early April. 

DCS also revealed that the Realme GT 7 will be thinner and lighter than the previous generation, even though it has a way larger battery. The exact dimensions are still missing, but we hope to find the missing details on the internet soon, so stick around for more updates.
